Second Annual Wellfleet Conservation Trust Walks in Wellfleet - a historic and educational walk, starting with a talk by Seashore historian Bill Burke and a tour of the Atwood Higgins House.  This will be followed by walks on Bound Brook Island, visiting the site of the original Island Schoolhouse built in 1840, a historic family cemetery, and wonderful vistas of Wellfleet Bay.

Saturday September 27 Forces of Nature, a play in three acts.  What happened when Skull & Bones man Gifford Pinchot met wilderness prophet John Muir met Rough Rider Teddy Roosevelt?  That is the subject of a staged dramatic reading featuring a simultaneous display of nature slides as the play is read by three actors.  A gala buffet reception will take place for select ticket holders.  Tickets available through the WHAT Ticket Office, 508-349-9428.
